what a performance...

i had been waiting for the Jackson Browne concert for months now.....the day finally arrived .....on the 11th of April Jackson Browne graced the Moncton casino stage....i had a small idea of what to expect from the show because i had previously bought the solo acoustic cds he had put out....but man oh man it was better than i could put into words..but i'll try.....he walked onto the stage to a sold out crowd.....sat down and took one of his many guitars that were all aligned beside him.....playing the first notes to The barricades of heaven,,,,and then preceded to sing the song.....after that he just took requests from the crowd....no setlist at all.....i shouted out my favorite song of his,,,,fountain of sorrow....and voila he moved himself to the piano and played it brilliantly...one by one he played classics from his deep catalogue and a few new ones off his last album " time the conquerer"......at one point of the show i swore he was looking right at me...it was almost a spiritual experience....i can tell you now that this concert is by far one of the best i have attended.....god bless you Jackson Browne.
